Finally the crib has arrived! So her room is now complete. I had to hide part of a picture below because her name is on the wall in wooden block letters... but we're keeping the name a secret until she arrives. Feel free to wonder about what that space might be saying! I also put in an updated picture of my ever expanding belly. The picture is me at 35 weeks- hard to imagine that there could be 5 more weeks of growth! I think I might burst. What's scary is that my stomach is even bigger without clothes hiding it. We have a doctor's appointment next week, so one of us (likely me) will give an update then on any baby news.

34 1/2 Weeks
So I'm finding it funny that all the titles of our posts revolve around how far along baby is... I guess that shows all our life consists of right now! All continues to go well on the baby growing front. I had my check-up today, and everything continues to look good. I am measuring a little big again, but that was absolutely no surprise to me. One bit of good news- it seems that she has decided to flip upside down for us. Our doctor wasn't 100% sure, but he will be able to verify that more at our next appointment. That was definitely a relief for me though, as the whole C-section idea was making me nervous.
I think we are fully prepared for her arrival as well! Her crib still has not arrived, but I think that it is supposed to ship this week. We are having her in a bassinet to begin with anyway, so the crib won't be a necessity at first. All other parts of her room are now ready though, and I think I have gotten all necessary supplies. Our house feels like it has been taken over by baby !
Here are some pictures of her room thus far- excluding the main wall where her crib and name will be!
It is definitely a girly little space!
My doctor also said at our appointment today that when I get to 36 weeks, that's considered full-term. So basically, in 2 weeks from now, baby girl could be arriving at any point! I'm praying that she decides to make her arrival shortly after 38 weeks... since I am in my friend's wedding on May 16. :) We'll see what happens though!

7 More Weeks to Go!
I have been telling Derek that it is his turn to update the blog... but as we can see, that hasn't happened yet. :) I decided to be nice and do it for him since I no longer work on Thursdays! We are basically into the 33rd week of pregnancy, so only 7 (give or take) more weeks to go till we meet our baby girl! I am very thankful for that. However, I really cannot complain as I have still continued to have a very easy pregnancy. My back hurts some nights, and I occasionally have heartburn (which I think happens after I eat my favorite spicy foods), but other than that I have honestly felt great.
My only complaint is that my stomach could be that of a 38 week pregnant woman, rather than 32! (as in the picture below). I keep getting reactions from people along the lines of wow, you have that far to go yet? That is often paired with a sympathetic look that I can only imagine means you poor girl, you are going to be huge by 40 weeks. Oh well, as long as baby girl is BIG and healthy, I guess it's okay!
We had our 32 week check-up this week, and baby continues to be doing great. However, our doctor did think that she is currently in the breech position, meaning her head is up near my ribs rather than her bottom. There is still time for her to move, but if she doesn't, he will do an external version on her to try and get her to flip the right away around. I am praying that she will move on her own as I've heard that procedure is VERY painful and doesn't always work. She is still super active, so I am hopeful that she will decide to flip around soon! Derek says its because she doesn't want all the blood to rush to her head yet. :)
Not much else is new for us. Some of her baby furniture has come in (finally) so we have been able to work more on her room. We are just waiting for the crib, and then we can complete everything! We'll take some pictures of our progress soon. Work continues to go well for both of us. Derek is very busy at work right now, along with doing freelance work on a website at home. I, on the other hand, am very not busy at work- hence the reason for my new scheduled day off! Hospice has been very slow lately, so I've had to take days off. I really haven't minded that at all though, and have decided I will definitely like being home with baby. :)
